What will I do?
The course incorporates independent study to prepare you for a classroom and hands-on skill development session with your instructor. You will learn the same patient care techniques used by medical professionals, but at a lay person level. These techniques include, but are not necessarily limited to: CPR for adult, child and infant, use of Automated External Defibrillator, choking, splinting, illness assessment, emergency oxygen administration, etc.
How long will it take?
Give us a day for just the Adult Care course. If you also opt for Child and Infant Care, give us two days and we'll make sure you get the whole monty. The EFR Trainer Course is open to everyone and requires two full days of training.
