Due to these currents, expect waters that are variable with temperature, current and clarity but constant with prolific life. Sharks are almost guaranteed, and mola mola are spotted regularly during season.
In calm regions of this area, such as Blue Lagoon, you can see cuttle fish, leaf scorpion fish, flat heads, estuarian stone fish, and the list just keeps on going.
These are some incredible sites, but be mindful that they can be among the most challenging and demanding dives in Bali. The swell and strong current coursing through Lombok Straight, brings not only rare and equisite diving, but unpredicable water movement, to include up and down currents. Be cautious in this area, and always carry signalling devices.
Dive sites here include: Blue Lagoon and Temple close in,
with Tepekong and Mimpang, and Biaha just a little to the north.
