Attain the PADI professional DiveMaster qualification during your 3 month diving internship. Dive masters and instructors work together as a team to provide safe, fun and effective diver training. The latest PADI standards allow DMs to teach some portions of the PADI Open Water Diver course confined water section. During thePADI Internship, you’ll learn to assist or rescue divers in distress, and to conduct open ocean tours for certified divers. Upon your request and at no additional charge, you can learn equipment repair, compressor operation, marketing and other aspects of dive center operations. Recent changes to the PADI IDC program has divided the program in two parts:

• Part 1 : The PADI AI (Assistant Instructor/3 day's)

This new revised AI curriculum is now the first 3 days of the IDC and the last 4 days is now called the OWSI (Open Water Scuba Instructor) program.

IDC Candidate Workbook has been changed and the Confined water and Open water lesson plan slates have been updated and candidates require their own personal copy, complete with PADI Hologram for attendance to the PADI IE.

Along with the revised PADI Course Director Manual and updated PADI evaluation slates, new PADI digital presentations are available including photos, diagrams and video clips from various PADI videos, PADI diver retention programs and business principles for the PADI Dive Instructor.

Candidates come away better prepared to offer complete programs that will attract future dive customers.
